"Embrace the Journey: Michelle's Story of Finding Purpose in Sound Healing"
Life has a way of surprising us, doesn't it? My name is Michelle, and little did I know that my desire to help others would lead me down the extraordinary path of becoming Sound Healing Facilitator. Let me share with you the story of how I found my true calling.
Born and raised on the picturesque Sunshine Coast, I had the good fortune of meeting my husband during our school years. As fate would have it, our careers in the Royal Australian Air Force took us on a journey across various locations in Australia for 15 years. However, deep down, our hearts longed to return to our beloved home and raise our two boys in this special place.
While my career shift may seem unexpected, it doesn't come as a surprise to me. You see, I have always had a burning desire to make a difference in the world.
Throughout my life, I have dedicated my time as a volunteer for various causes close to my heart. From Children's Cancer Camps to caring for wildlife, the SES and Meals on Wheels, I have always been driven by the thought of positively impacting others and fostering meaningful human connections.
In 2018, after completing my NLP practitioner certification, I yearned for a way to reach children and provide them with life-changing skills and tools. Yoga had been an integral part of my personal journey for many years, and I unconsciously incorporated its principles into my own family life. I embarked on a journey as a childrens yoga teacher for a few years and this is where I introduced a few crystal bowls to my class… and now that collection, along with my knowledge and passion, has expanded!
With adding sound into your regular self-care routine, you can begin to see and feel the changes within. It’s through brain entrainment, where brainwaves become syncronised with the harmonic resonance of the bowls and other instruments, that helps to calm and relax your nervous system so it can repair and heal on a cellular level.
